CONTACTING Creatures of Sonaria MODerators

Need to DM a moderator, but you feel too nervous? Don't know how to provide sufficient evidence that the mod team can use? This is the page for you!Come here to learn how to collect evidence, submit reports, and communicate with moderators effectively, politely, and efficiently.

COLLECTING EVIDENCE: Discord

To collect evidence on Discord, we have a couple of guidelines you need to follow so that we can use the images you give us. We require full, uncropped images that have not been tampered with in any way.
Below are some good and bad examples of MOBILE screenshots.

Below are good and bad examples of PC screenshots.

If you're on PC and don't want to share what servers you're in with us, don't worry! First, take a full, uncropped screenshot like the ones you see above. Then, you may censor your DMs and servers with a black box or something similar. But please don't crop them out!

Collecting Evidence: Roblox

Collecting evidence on Roblox can be difficult because we require recordings as opposed to screenshots for most offenses. I recommend OBS because it's free to download on PC.I recommend using the highest settings you can so that we can read it when you upload!

When using the above method, be sure to scroll all the way through the pack menu. The user must be the only creature of their species in the server and you must show us their USERNAME through the Esc menu, not just their display you find in the pack menu!

Remember: for ALL THREE of these methods, you must also capture the user exploiting in the SAME VIDEO. We cannot accept multiple videos, videos in which the exploiter's username is not provided, or videos of sniffs/menus/skulls without an exploit.

Making reports: Discord

Need to make a report about somebody's behavior in our Discord server? Check out our #modmail channel!DM the ModMail bot in our server (@ModMail) and have proper uncropped Discord evidence ready. Other good things to know are the Discord ID of the person you're reporting, the Discord username of the person you're reporting, and the Roblox username of the person you're reporting if necessary.

Making reports: Roblox

Reporting a scammer or exploiter in the game? Check out the #game-report channel!First, read Toasty's "Additional Reporting Information" thread in that channel. It is much more in-depth than this Carrd and will help you fill out the form! It also lets you know which actions we do and don't accept reports on.
--
Exploiter actively in your game? Start recording or DM a moderator! We get to all of the reports filed eventually, but if you need help immediately it's best to DM someone.
--
Trying to appeal an in-game ban? Please DM a Game Moderator or create a ModMail Ticket!

Interacting with Moderators and Administrators

The biggest thing to remember when talking to a moderator is that we're people too. Please try not to be too intimidated; we're here to help the community and don't bite! That also means being polite. Instead of sending us evidence or a trade offer, try greeting us! Here are a few examples of DMs I personally would answer:"Hello! I'd like to offer for an Etheralotus species." or "Hello! What are your Ether prices?"
"Hi, could I ask you a question about the game/server?"
"Hey! Would you mind helping me with an in-game ban appeal?"
"Could you please help me appeal a tradelock?"
"I think I found a bot server. Could you please help?"

We love to help, so if you need any moderative assistance at all, feel free to reach out.
